Auto and Financial Services led the Friday rally, with Nifty Midcap and Smallcap both up 0.44% — broad-based participation into the close.
India's IIP rose 7.3% YoY in June 2026, a 23-month high – solid but base aided as June'25 was very soft
The FOMC voted 9-3 to keep the funds rate at 3.50–3.75% — the fifth straight hold — with three regional presidents dissenting in favour of a rate hike on above-target inflation
